is in the business of producing pre-cut heatseal
lids for many well known customers in the North
American market. Part of this process is the analysis
and continuous quality control of all of our lidding
materials and also the assessment of all new potential
materials.
As part of our laboratory equipment we utilize
the Seal-it-Systems Mk 1 - Heatseal machine, which
I personally use as a mobile unit when visiting
customers to assess quality issues or new potential
materials. Mk3 - Single seal multi cup size bench
sealer. This item is essential to our laboratory
testing and provides me with very quick changeover
parts to allow testing to be completed using a multitude
of container and lid sizes. Also I have full control
over sealing pressure and temperature which allows
me to re-create a customers sealing conditions in
the event of a quality issue or to assess a full
range of sealing conditions when looking to find
‘optimum’ parameters.
The Vacuum Chamber is also an essential piece of
equipment which is utilized frequently to establish
the integrity of a sealed product when exposed to
an inner vacuum such as hot filled products or for
example when used in the airline industry.
I consider the above pieces of equipment to be essential
to our business and at the very top of what is available
in the market today. I am also very impressed with
the turn around time of spare parts and also the
wealth of technical knowledge constantly on hand
with the Seal-It-Systems staff. I would personally
